I provide therapy to adult women across the lifespan who experience issues of anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, fertility challenges, miscarriage, fetal loss and pregnancy and postpartum challenges. I have a particular interest and specialized training to work with women in the perinatal, postpartum, perimenopausal and menopausal periods, and am trained by Postpartum Support Internation and 2020Mom. Working from a mindful, person-centered, psychodynamic perspective, I primarily incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and breath-body balance techniques into my sessions.

I work with you to identify and empower your strengths inside to create change on the outside. As a working parent of two young children, I understand the struggles of “the invisible mental load of motherhood” and feelings of being overwhelmed. I specifically work with you to recognize that you are not alone in your struggles, and through an authentic, warm and reliable therapeutic bond, together, we will instill hope. In addition, I work with you to balance parenthood and career aspirations while maintaining your own identity. I love working with women and giving women the ability to have a safe space to learn, grow and embrace themselves.

I have a B.S. and B.A. from the University of Arizona and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Maryland in 2020 after a 20+ year career as a nonprofit executive. In addition to therapeutic services, I am a full-time lecturer at Towson University in their Psychology Department.
